Sanjiv is the Founder and the Head of Soods Consulting. He has over 30 years of experience in building business processes and control systems for companies to help them achieve higher standards of productivity and performance, besides handling credit / risk management, supply chain and administration.
Sanjiv has held senior management positions in various FMCG companies operating in the fields of textiles, pharmaceuticals, rubber and chemicals. As part of the top management, he has been actively involved in the companies’ strategic business-planning and decision-making efforts, as well as the execution and evaluation of all plans and polices.
His last position was Vice President - Commercial and Administration for Vardhman Yarns and Threads Limited, a leading textile conglomerate in India and a JV with American and Effird LLC USA.
Sanjiv has accumulated diverse experience over the years. He has been instrumental in evolving Information Technology (IT) solutions for his companies, including the implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and simulation of control systems on digital platforms, since the time when IT was still developing in India.
Sanjiv is known for his extensive commercial acumen and strong analytical skills. He is also an expert in the management of crises having successfully averted situations of industrial unrest, financial and technological crises during the last 30 years of his industrial career.
